Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study is to know Hardness and Microstructures of Commercial Dental Casting Gold Alloys. The Hardness Test were obtained by using Vickers Micro-Hardness Tester and Microstructures were obtained under Metallograph.
The Results as follows.
1. The Hardness Number of Type II is 103 after Softening Heat Treatment.
2. The Hardness Number of Type III is 150 after Softening Heat Treatment and 210 after Hardening Heat Treatment.
3. The Hardness Number of Type IV is 295 after Hardening Heat Treatment.
4. Dental Casting Gold Alloys tend to exhibit an equiaxed grain structure.
